Ally Begg is a sports presenter, senior football producer, blogger, and life-long Aberdeen fan.
He began his sports broadcasting career with Manchester United’s in-house TV station, MUTV, in the summer of 1999, before moving to Glasgow to take up a presenting role with Setanta Sports.
Three years later, he moved to Singapore after accepting a role with global sports broadcaster ESPN Star Sports. Ally regularly presented the English Premier League and UEFA Champions League coverage to an audience of millions.
In 2009 he made the move into the world of sports production and between 2013 and 2020 lived in Doha, Qatar, where he produced beIN Sports Premier League, UEFA Champions League, FIFA World Cup, the UEFA European Football Championships, and the 2019 Asian Cup.
He now lives near Salzburg, Austria, with his young family and works as sports and media consultant. Ally continues to watch the Dons religiously from afar.
